FAQ

Why do I need a tree risk assessment?

Tree risk assessments help identify potential hazards before they cause damage or injury. They provide peace of mind and reduce liability for property owners.

How often should tree assessments be performed?

We recommend a complete assessment every 1-3 years. Higher risk trees may need annual inspections. Weather events may also warrant additional assessments.

What does your tree assessment process involve?

Our arborists visually inspect each tree and use tools like resistance drills, tomography, and root collar excavation to gather data. This is analyzed to determine risk ratings and mitigation actions.

What information is included in your tree inventory reports?

Our reports contain tree species, size, location, health rating, risk rating, maintenance needs, and recommendations for care. They can be integrated with GIS platforms.

Will you provide tree removal services?

No, we do not provide tree removal. We give unbiased assessments and recommendations. This allows us to only recommend work that is necessary for the health or safety of the tree. Licensed contractors can be recommended and/or overseen to complete the work.

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry liability insurance and maintain workers compensation coverage for our team. We are fully licensed in this state.

What qualifications should an arborist have?

Certifications like ISA Certified Arborist demonstrate proper training and expertise. Membership in professional organizations such as ASCA & TCIA are also important.

What should I look for in a tree risk assessment company?

You want experienced arborists using the latest tools and standards. Look for credentials, good reviews, proper insurance coverage, and fair pricing.
